NOTE: THE PREVIOUS ITERATION OF THIS GAME (AS SEEN IN THE BANNER AND OFFICIAL SCREENSHOTS) IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

The previous iteration has been removed in order to avoid confusion for anyone looking for the stuff I have been posting more recently.

Welcome to Your New Home

It started as just an ordinary day, but by nightfall, you found yourself taken captive, on your way to a new land, a new home, with new people. You don't know the rules, and you don't speak the language. If you try to run, they'll hunt you down. All you can do at this point...is try.

But That Would Be Too Easy, Wouldn't It?

Life isn't easy in this new village, but an attack by an unusual foe suddenly pushes ordinary cares by the wayside. Who were they? Why did they attack? What are these artifacts that they have left behind?

Think she'll be mad that it's taken me so long (at least a few months) to get these things?

I promise, I'm not dead. Real life got in the way. In a good way, but still in the way. Got a thousand projects but a little more time to pursue them

Working on animations for the enemies, at least the Sentries. Hey, Godot, remember when you could save animations as resources and import them to other models? That would be awesome so I don't have to recreate everything for every enemy

Decided to work on the loot. When you defeat an enemy, you can see what you're getting I don't think that's going to be the final position, but it works for now

For the life of me, I could not get a screenshot of the punching animation. But it exists. PC is a lefty. Not only is it good stage manners (never block the audience's view), but it's just good and more proper that way (I'm a southpaw boxer)

Had to do some camera work because apparently the player character was unloading before the cameras, which made it mad. Which is weird because the functions that were triggering should not have been triggering in the first place. Like, at all

I don't get it. It is clearly searching for a path. It has found a path. It just won't move Watched four different tutorials, none of them worked. Someone? Anyone? Bueller? (code in article if anyone wants to take a look)

Okay, I'm done for the night. I'm too mad Decided to do some work on the followers so they turn and move a little better and managed to break them entirely. Screw it. I'm going to go play a game that works

Made a simple injury animation so we can actually see that damage is being done (screenshot is part of the death animation) Also added more props and prop shenanigans. There is a chance they could fall over at some point, and it might hurt

Back after a lovely Christmas and doing a little cleanup. Got everything tightened up so there is less dead space. Did some art on a now one-armed audience. And fixed a bug with the target selection arrow Today's progress brought to you by Audiomachine
